Founded in 2010 and as one of the Twin Cities’ longest running stand up paddleboard operations, our purpose is to build a local movement of first-time to advanced outdoor recreation enthusiasts interested in exploring our vast waterways and trails in the western suburbs. SUP Rentals
Lightweight and stable paddleboard rentals for all abilities. Hourly/Half Day/Full Day/Multi-Day Brand New Rental Fleet every season. Wai Nani Surf & Paddle only uses the best, most enjoyable rental paddleboards around. Our rental fleet is made up of lightweight stand up paddleboards from Grey Duck & Idol that comfortably accommodate paddlers up to approximately 230 lbs. Rental includes use of lifejacket.

Private Lessons & Events
A memorable and unique activity for company team building events, birthdays, women’s day out, book clubs, reunions, wedding weekends, bachelor/bachelorette events, date nights or just a great excuse to get out and have fun! Best of all, we customize the event specifically for you! Paddleboards, paddles, leashes and PFDs provided as well as professional staffing assistance, if necessary, for optimal group safety and enjoyment. New to SUP and want a pro to help show you the way? Private and group lessons available to get you on your way with expert guidance. Private lessons and events are available at all of our locations. SUP Beginner Clinics
On and off the water Stand Up Paddleboard training that will have you comfortably paddling in no time! Participants will learn the basics of SUP including equipment overview, paddle and launch techniques as well as general safety instruction. Rental includes use of a lifejacket. Total class time: 45 minutes and includes complimentary 1-hour rental after class. Max class size of 6-8 participants. Minimum of three participants to hold class. Paddleboards will comfortably accommodate new paddlers up to approximately 225 lbs.

SUP Fitness Paddle
Bring a group or sign up solo for this fun and serene workout on Lake Minnetonka. Located at Wayzata Beach, our instructor will lead you through a fun and intensive workout, testing your balance on our paddleboards while you paddle to Spirit Island and Back. All are welcome but some paddle experience is recommended.

SUP Yoga Paddle
This class is a relaxing practice designed to restore and invigorate. Practice is beginner-friendly, though some previous paddleboard and yoga experience will benefit you given the innovative format of SUP Yoga. SUP Yoga is a combination of paddle boarding and yoga practice. It challenges you to find another level of balance and focus your mind, all while floating atop the water. Paddle board yoga is not only elegant but also a great challenge for any rider.
